General Questions

Q: Where can I find replacement batteries?
A: Batteries will soon be available for purchase at our website. In the meantime please look to local retailers for replacements.

Q: What colors are available?
A: Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Multicolor Red, White & Blue, UV Red, UV Green, UV Blue, UV Orange, UV Yellow, White

Q: What is the difference between Tireflys® Pro and Tireflys® Original?
A: Tireflys Pro are made of Billet aluminum

Q: Where can I buy your products locally?
A: Refer to the website under the Dealers/Retailers tab.

Q: What other products do you have?
A: Please feel free to search the website for all of our new products and product announcements.

Q: What do I do if my Tirefly does not work, no matter what?
A: Please contact customer support either via the website or by calling 866-TIREFLY.

Q: How do I know if I have a patented Tireflys® product?
A: Tireflys® is the original valve stem light, our name is on the packaging and product.

 

Technical Questions

Q: How do I make my Tireflys® blink when riding on smooth surfaces and not just when I run over rough terrain?
A: Tireflys® sensitivity can be adjusted. Please click here to view the online tutorial.

Q: What is going to happen to my tires if I remove the valve stem cover and put a Tireflys® on in place of the cover?
A: Tireflys® have been designed not to interfere with the air pressure in your tire. If you install Tireflys® on your wheel and experience low tire pressure, remove Tireflys and have tire(s) checked.

Q: How can I make my Tireflys blink? They stay on constantly.
A: Open up your Tireflys® and check the spring switch on the circuit board. It should not be touching the surrounding metal cage. Assemble Tireflys® and tap the cap of the unit. This will reset it.

Q : I replaced the batteries, now Tireflys® will not turn off.
A : After replacing the batteries, Tireflys® needs to be reset. When Tireflys® are blinking, tap the top of unit. This will reset it.

Resale Questions

Q: How can I become a dealer of Tireflys®?
A: To become a dealer simply fill out the form on the website under the dealer tab. A representative will contact you once the form is received.

Automotive Questions

Q: Someone put one of your Tireflys on my vehicle. Do you have someone that goes around doing that?
A: If someone has installed a Tireflys® light on your vehicle it was not directed by Tireflys®

Q: Are Tireflys® legal in my area?
A: Please check with your local law enforcement.

 

Return & Exchange Policy for Defective Product


We will issue a full refund, credit memo, or product replacement for most defectives within 90 days of the purchase date.
To return defective product by mail: Call
1-866-Tirefly or e-mail HYPERLINK "mailto:sales@tireflys.com" sales@tireflys.com to advise us of the return and to receive your return authorization number and shipping instructions. Provide the following information:


- Order number


- Order date


- Reason for the return


- Quantity


- Item description (including UPC)


- Method of payment used for purchase


- Pack the items along with a packing slip securely in a box.


- Write the authorization number on the outside of the box.


Mail the package to us at the address below. The following items cannot be returned to Tireflys®:
1. Items not purchased directly from Theory3, Inc., dba Tireflys®

2. Items not purchased within 90 days unless other arrangements have been established.
3. Items purchased from anyone other than Theory3, Inc., dba Tireflys® must be returned to the location from which the items were purchased.

Return & Exchange Policy for Purchases & Gifts

Return Policy: We will issue a full refund for most items returned in original packaging within 90 days of the purchase date. Exchange Policy: While we will replace damaged or defective merchandise (see Defective Policy), we will not exchange items. In order to get exactly what you want, as quickly as possible, simply return the unwanted product for a refund and place a new order for the product you want. When we receive your return, we'll issue a refund for the merchandise only. If the item was sent to you as a gift, we'll send you a credit memo via e-mail for the amount of the return that can be used for future purchases. We're unable to honor previous sale prices or promotions when you place your new order. To return an item by mail: You can mail your return to us in just a few simple steps. Call 1-866-Tirefly or e-mail HYPERLINK "mailto:sales@tireflys.com" sales@tireflys.com to advise us of the return and to receive your return authorization number.

Mail the package to us at the address below. If you need to return items that weigh over 70 pounds, contact us at 1-866-Tirefly. If the return is a result of our error, you will not be charged for return shipping. This return process is valid for domestic returns only. The following items cannot be returned to Tireflys®:


1. Items not purchased directly from Theory3, Inc., dba Tireflys®
2. Items not purchased within 90 days unless other arrangements have been established.
3. Items purchased from anyone other than Theory3, Inc., dba Tireflys® must be returned to the location from which the items were purchased.

Also, please note: Merchandise on clearance at the time of return will be refunded at the clearance price. Other restrictions may apply. Return shipping is at the cost of the customer. All returns for non-defective product will incur a 25% handling and restocking fee. After 90 days, please contact Tireflys® at 1-866-Tirefly. All other returns or exchanges — including those without a receipt — will be offered manufacturers' warranty and repair assistance at 1-866-Tirefly.
