Company moves to a new location with a new direction

After more than five-years in Florida, Tireflys® puts its own wheels in motion with a company headquarter move to Richmond, Virginia. The capital city is a logical location choice for bringing together the Orlando based designers with the new Chief Operating Officer Edie Curry, who along with her highly motivated sales staff and detail oriented fulfillment team call Richmond home. Together under the canopy of the Corrugated Box Building, Tireflys® will continue the momentum established in Orlando and build in new directions.

Located at 201 West Seventh Street, Tireflys® is taking part in the rebirth of the Old Manchester District. The Corrugated Box Building establishes a community of creative businesses in an open, collaborative workspace. Tireflys® hub is tucked behind thick maroon draperies that when pulled back reveal natural light shining on the heart and pulse of the company’s day to day activity. In house CAD-CAM capabilities, access to new materials, and high-speed internet service with a direct link to overseas manufacturers facilitate quick to market products. “It’s the kid in the candy store scenario, where everything we could ever want is at our fingertips,” says owner Russell Rothan.

CEO Edie Curry rolled out the welcome mat to a city she planted her roots-in several years ago. Rich with history and invigorated by new growth, Richmond tells a story much like Tireflys®, adding significance to the move as the company looks forward under Curry’s leadership. Curry brings a fresh perspective and years of experience to the helm. She is steering the team into exciting areas of commerce from the new Tireflys® headquarters.
